The Los Angeles Quilt Show & Fiber Art Fest is a community-themed show, where artists of all levels are invited to show their creations in a unique public space. The festivities include professional and peer-juried competitions, interactive classes, shopping from dozens of handmade artisans, the chance to meet quilting guilds, supply companies and fiber artists spanning an array of styles. Quilted entries are suspended from the wood rafters of the vintage and historic warehouse allowing viewers to walk 360 degrees around the artwork to take in the intricate stitching and fabric. CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles is a permanent craft marketplace located in a classically restored 1940’s-era Warehouse No 10 and is home to more than 100 individual artists, crafters and food makers, each presenting their unique handcrafted goods in a vibrant patchwork of shop spaces.
